We are thrilled to share a significant milestone for Hrishub International Limited! We were deeply honored to receive an invitation from the Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy Abuja, collaborating with the U.S. Speaker Program, to participate in a pivotal session: “Cultural Heritage: Harnessing Virtual/Augmented Reality for Historical Site Preservation in Nigeria.”

This forward-thinking event brought together global and local expertise to tackle a crucial challenge: preserving Nigeria’s irreplaceable historical and cultural landmarks for future generations. The discussions centered on the transformative potential of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies.
The session featured insightful contributions from Kacey Hadick alongside esteemed Nigerian experts. Together, they explored innovative strategies for utilizing VR/AR to digitally document, conserve, and reimagine access to Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage sites. Imagine virtually walking through ancient ruins, experiencing historical events unfold around you, or seeing restored monuments overlaid on their current state – this is the future we explored.
A key highlight was the presentation by the CEO of CKYAK (USA), who shared compelling global success stories where VR/AR has revolutionized heritage preservation. Demonstrating the tangible impact of this technology, the CEO expressed a strong interest in partnering to document significant historical sites across Nigeria. This potential collaboration underscores the international recognition of Nigeria’s cultural wealth.

The discussions went beyond preservation, delving into the significant socio-economic benefits. Experts emphasized how well-documented and digitally accessible cultural assets can:
- Generate Revenue: Through virtual tourism, educational content, and licensing.
- Boost Tourism: Attracting both physical and virtual visitors globally.
- Drive Local Development: Creating jobs, supporting local communities, and fostering sustainable growth around heritage sites.
Hrishub International Limited and the Hriscare Foundation are incredibly excited to be part of this meaningful initiative. This event perfectly aligns with our core mission of building an impactful tech ecosystem in Nigeria and leveraging innovation for positive social change. The potential to use cutting-edge technology like VR/AR to safeguard our national heritage is both inspiring and vital.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the U.S. Embassy Abuja and the U.S. Speaker Program for facilitating this crucial dialogue. We eagerly anticipate working closely with the Embassy, CKYAK, and other partners to turn these discussions into concrete action. We are committed to exploring and implementing innovative technological solutions that ensure Nigeria’s magnificent cultural legacy is not only preserved but also celebrated and shared with the world for generations to come.
